Kick-start your day with this nutritious, cacao-almond smoothie bowl

We are going nuts for this Oh My Chai! almond mylk smoothie bowl. The creamy, rich, frozen yogurt-like texture is the perfect way to stay cool on a hot, summer morning. Not only is this delicious mix a high source of vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium, but it also has about 30% of your daily magnesium to help keep your immune system strong, your digestive system active, and your heart healthy. An added bonus? It’s vegan and gluten free… oh, and it will take you less than 10 minutes to make. If you prefer a savory breakfast, try it as a restorative post-workout snack—the potassium helps maintain fluid and electrolyte balance and your muscles will thank you for the protein dose from the almonds and cashews.   

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Oh My Chai! almond mylk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut

Toppings

  • 4-5 Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/8 cup cashews
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut

Instructions

Blend together all ingredients until creamy and smooth. Pour into a bowl and have fun decorating the smoothie mix with the colorful toppings!
