After a few months of DIY, Michelle, Rita, and I have finally opened the doors to The Local Fare.  It’s as cute as can be.  The back was built out as our commercial kitchen & the storefront has a simple, rustic feel.  Our handmade counter by my amazing handyman boyfriend Craig is my favorite part.  This adorable little space at 2 Lake Street in Arlington holds a special place in my heart because it was built with love.  We worked so hard to get it ready for inspections and customers…and the hard work has paid off!

Nutty Life mylks and bites are made in house & can be purchased Monday through Friday 3pm-7pm & Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm.  We also have Nutty Life body products – almond meal soap and lip balm and more to come! Everything in the store is from the Boston area, with our furthest goodies coming from Rhode Island.  We’re always looking for new products, so if you have any ideas for healthy, delicious products local to Boston, please reach out! We love unique non-food items too! We’re carrying everything from cards and candles and lotions to dog treats and human treats and beverages.  The Local Fare is the perfect place to treat yourself or to pick up a last minute gift.

We have our grand opening on Saturday, August 27th from 11am-7pm.  We will have raffle prizes and discounts, so make sure to carve out some time on your calendar to stop in! Thank you for all of your support! And kickstarter pledgers: we will start sending out rewards in the coming weeks <3

Stay happy and healthy :)
